Another poem from my Paris series is now published in The Ekphrastic Review. I wrote this poem sitting on the edge of the bench in the immersive space of the Musee de l’Orangerie, in a few minutes lull from other visitors.
Poem in Variant Literature
Excited to share that another poem from my Paris series, “A Red Painted Poppy,” is out in Variant Literature’s summer issue! I’d taken my flower print Doc Martens shoes to Paris in 2016 when this moment happened. I lived off bakeries, day-old baguettes, and cheese so I could go to all of the museums and gardens instead.
