My residency week at Wildacres in North Carolina was amazing and I did not want to leave! Peaceful, inspiring, and the perfect place to explore new writing. I hiked along the Blue Ridge Parkway, read pieces of the place’s history around the grounds, and watched colorful birds from my cabin window. I worked on a secret new novel project idea, doing a lot of exploratory writing and colorful story mapping.
